Joshua Kagan Featured in Marketplace on New U.S. Trade Investigations

Special Counsel Joshua Kagan was featured in Marketplace on the Trump administration’s launch of unfair trade practice investigations into dozens of countries following the Supreme Court of the United States decision striking down earlier tariffs. Joshua shared his perspective on the likely outcomes of the probes.

“Tariffs coming out of both of these Section 301 investigations that have been launched this week are a foregone conclusion,” said Joshua. ​“The rates could be different by country. And it’s even possible that, for some … they could choose to employ some of the other remedies.”
