Kelley Drye respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Policy refers to information that identifies or is reasonably capable of being associated with you or your household as “personal data.” This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of data we collect from and about you when you visit our website or any digital property where this Policy is posted (each a “Site” and collectively, the “Sites”) or attend an event that we host or sponsor. Additionally, this Policy explains how we use and disclose personal data, and personal data rights and choices.
This Policy also applies to you as a Kelley Drye job applicant, but it does not apply to personal data that you provide when you become a client or employee of Kelley Drye. It is important that you read this Policy together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or using personal data from or about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.

NOTICE AT COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We collect the categories of personal data listed below. We disclose personal data collected from Site visitors to vendors that provide us with data storage and computing services, analytics, and advertising and marketing services. We do not “sell” or “share” personal data (as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. laws), nor do we disclose your information for targeted advertising.
- Identifiers, such as your name, postal and email addresses, and phone number. We also collect IP addresses, device identifiers, and other online identifiers from Site visitors.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information. We collect information about which pages or areas of the Site you visit and the time and date of your use of the Site.
- Professional or Employment-related Information. We may collect your business-related contact information, such as employer’s name, job title, business email and postal addresses, and telephone number. This will also include relevant job applicant information.
If you are a job applicant, we may collect additional categories of personal data from you
- Education Information. In connection with applying for a job on the Site, we collect information that you include in your cover letter and resume.
- Personal data categories listed in the California Customer Records statute. We may collect your name along with your Social Security number or driver’s license number.
- Characteristics of Protected Classifications under California or Federal Law. Consistent with applicable law, we may collect your gender identity, disability and veteran status, if you choose to provide this information.
- Sensitive Personal Data. Consistent with applicable law, we may collect information relating to your sexual orientation and racial origin, if you choose to provide this information. We limit our use or disclosure of the sensitive personal data for permitted business purposes.
This Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect or seek data from anyone who is under the age of 18.
Our Purposes for Collecting Personal Data
We collect personal data for several purposes

Personal Data Retention
We will retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide you with services that you request through the Site, for marketing purposes unless you opt out as described in this Policy, or otherwise where permitted or required in accordance with applicable law. We will retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. As a result, our personal data retention periods vary depending on the type of information and our surrounding business needs and legal obligations.

Data That You Provide
We collect personal data from you when you choose to share it with us. This may include your name, email address, job title, company name/employer, and other information you provide when you sign up for one of our blogs, newsletters, register for one of our events, request information from us, or otherwise communicate with us.
Data That We Collect Automatically
When you visit and interact with the Site, we or our processors or service providers use a variety of technologies, such as cookies, tags, SDKs or scripts, to collect certain information regarding your activity. The specific types of information that we and our vendors automatically collect include

2. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA
We disclose personal data in the following ways
- With our Service Providers. We disclose personal data to processors that provide business, professional, or technical support functions for us, help us operate our business and the Site, or administer activities on our behalf. We require our processors to limit their use of your personal data to providing their services to Kelley Drye.
- For Legal Compliance and Security Purposes. We may disclose your personal data: (i) to respond to subpoenas, legal process, or government requests and investigations; (ii) in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety; or (iii) otherwise as permitted or required by law. - In Connection with a Sale or Business Transaction. We may sell or purchase assets during the normal course of our business. If another entity acquires us or any of our assets, data that we have collected about you may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, data that we hold about you may be considered an asset of ours and may be sold or transferred to third parties.

U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you are a U.S. resident, you may exercise the following privacy rights
- Right to Know. You may request information about the personal data that we have collected about you, including the categories of sources from which the personal data is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or disclosing personal data, the categories of third parties to which we disclose personal data, and the specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you. Please note that we may not be required to respond to your requests “to know” or access specific pieces of personal data more than twice in any 12-month period.
- Right to Request List of Categories of Third Parties. You may request a list of the categories of third parties to which we have disclosed your personal data.
- Right to Request List of Specific Third Parties. You may request a list of the specific third parties with which we have shared or sold your personal data.
- Right to Delete. You may request that we delete personal data that we have collected from or about you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct. You may make a request to correct inaccurate personal data that we may maintain about you, subject to appropriate verification.
- Right to Appeal. You may appeal a decision we have made in connection with your privacy rights request.
As noted above, we do not sell or share your personal data, and do not use your personal data for targeted advertising.

We may request certain information to verify your identity before we can respond to your access, deletion, or correction requests. If you submit your request by email, please write “Your Privacy Rights” in the subject field of your email.
Where permitted under applicable law, we may decline a request if we are unable to verify your identity (or an agent’s authority to make the request) and confirm that the personal data we maintain relates to you.
We will not discriminate against you because you exercised your rights under this section of the Privacy Policy.
Authorized Agent Requests
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may submit a request related to your personal data. Depending on your state of residence, you may authorize someone to make a privacy rights request on your behalf (an authorized agent). Authorized agents will need to demonstrate that you have authorized them to act on your behalf. Kelley Drye reserves the right to request confirmation directly from you that the agent is authorized to make such a request, or to request additional information to confirm the agent’s identity.

4. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND PLUGINS
This Policy applies only to websites and apps operated by Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.
The Site may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not endorse the practices of such sites, and we are not responsible for their practices. We recommend that you review the privacy and security policies of each website you visit before providing any personal data.
The Site may also offer you the ability to interact with social plugins from social media networks, which may allow us and the social media network to receive data from or about you. In some cases, we may know that you clicked on a social plugin or receive other information from the social media network. Similarly, if you have previously provided personal data to a third party operating a plugin on the Site, that third party may recognize you on the Site. Your use of social media network plugins is subject to the plugin provider’s privacy policy, so please read these policies carefully to understand their policies and your options. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, remove, or otherwise revise portions of this Policy at any time. When we do, we will post the change(s) to our Sites.
