Tyler Bohman focuses his practice on all aspects of labor and employment law and commercial litigation. He defends employers against various employment-related claims filed in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. With extensive experience representing employers with issues and claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, employee discipline, wage and hour violations, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, union collective bargaining, grievances, and unfair labor practice charges, Tyler acts as de facto in-house employment counsel for corporations of various sizes and industries. He enjoys counselling employers to efficiently avoid litigation in line with their business goals and succeeding in any litigation that does result due in large part to effective pre-litigation preparation.
Tyler also litigates on behalf of employers in breach of contract and theft of trade secrets matters when a business’s most closely held proprietary information is on the line.
Tyler has significant experience counseling and defending clients with issues related to The Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and successfully defending clients in BIPA class action litigation.
Tyler also counsels prominent Section 527 organizations regarding compliance with federal, state, and local campaign finance law.
