The Right of Publicity and Celebrity in the Digital Age
January 23, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am (EST)
Associate Tal Ben-Moshe will moderate a panel at Fordham Law School’s Eleventh Annual Media & Entertainment Law Symposium examining the rapidly evolving Right of Publicity and Celebrity in the Digital Age.
The panel will explore the legal and ethical challenges surrounding privacy, name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights amid the rise of AI-generated content and deepfakes. Panelists will discuss how courts, legislators, and industry leaders are responding to these developments, as well as emerging right-of-publicity laws and the negotiation of privacy protections in modern entertainment contracts.
