Vincent Rao focuses on commercial litigation, consumer-oriented class action defense, IP protection, and employment litigation, including defense of discrimination, breach of contract, and related claims.

A major aspect of Vincent’s work involves consumer-oriented class actions. This includes representing telecommunications carriers, in statutory and common law fraud class action cases in federal and state courts in a multitude of jurisdictions.

He also represents management in litigation related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and compensation in federal and state courts and in arbitrations and administrative hearings.

Vincent routinely counsels and advises businesses and non-profit companies on employment law issues.

Represents a major wireless carrier in a nationwide class action in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. The case settled numerous pending cases around the country and included an All Writs Act injunction staying certain of those pending cases.

Represents one of the nation’s leading wireless carriers in various class action suits alleging consumer fraud claims.

Represented a global manufacturer of luxury lifestyle products in a case brought by an employee in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey for violations of Title VII and state employment laws for alleged age discrimination.

Represented the same global manufacturer of luxury lifestyle products in a case brought by an employee in the Superior Court of New Jersey for violations of state employment laws for alleged age discrimination, wage and hour act non-compliance, constructive discharge and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Represented one of the largest global insurance providers in a case brought by an employee in the Superior Court of New Jersey for violations of Title VII and state employment laws for, among other things, alleged race discrimination and violations of civil rights.

Represented the same global insurance provider in a case brought by borrowers for breach of contract and fraud.

Represented numerous telecommunications carriers in litigations throughout the United States involving national and international telecommunications issues.

Represented a major wireless carrier in a case brought by the Minnesota Attorney General regarding sales and marketing practices. Case was resolved via settlement.

Represented several pharmaceutical companies in patent infringement and unfair trade practices litigation, including Hatch-Waxman cases.

Represented numerous pharmaceutical and global manufacturers in trademark prosecution matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and in trademark infringement actions in federal courts.
