Partner Robert D. Bickford Jr. and special counsel James F. Jacobus were mentioned as counsel to AXA and Met Life in the Law360 article “AXA, MetLife Loan $500M For NYC Office Tower.” On May 3, AXA and MetLife Inc. closed $500 Million in financing to a subsidiary of Paramount Group Inc. for 31 W. 52nd Street in Manhattan. The 29-story, 786,647-square-foot tower is located between Avenue of the Americas and Fifth Avenue.
Earlier this year, a Kelley Drye team lead by Mr. Bickford represented AXA in the sale of 787 Seventh Ave. in Manhattan to the California Public Employees’ Retirement System for more than $1.9 billion.
