Partner Damon Suden collaborated with in-house counsel at Saks, Inc. to co-author, ​“Requests for Proposals, Bidding and Presentations”, chapter 5 in the treatise, Successful Partnering Between Inside and Outside Counsel. As in-house legal departments use of formal request for proposal processes are becoming more mainstream, this chapter offers practical insights and advice into processes for finding and selecting outside counsel to provide legal services and methods to monitor outside counsel performance throughout the development of the relationship.
