Ryan M. Dunn focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and consumer class action defense in state and federal courts. He represents clients across industries through all phases of civil litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial.

Ryan has experience drafting and arguing discovery and substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and applications for emergent injunctive relief. He also regularly conducts and defends depositions of parties, corporate representatives, fact witnesses, and experts, and he has substantial experience managing large-scale document review, including ESI strategy and privilege review. 

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Ryan practiced as an associate at a New Jersey-based litigation firm. He also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Lisa Rose, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. During law school, Ryan was a Law Student Intern in the Seton Hall University Center for Social Justice, Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, where he successfully represented a non-citizen political refugee in an asylum proceeding. He also served as a Legal Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, where he was involved in various federal civil rights investigations.
