Krystal Alvarez focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. Krystal’s experience includes counseling clients on emerging technology, breach of contract disputes, commercial class action defense, and conducting internal investigations.
Krystal maintains an active pro bono practice. She has won both asylum and guardianship cases on behalf of her clients. She is also the former co-chair of the Women at Kelley Drye.
Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Krystal was a summer law clerk to the Honorable Ann Claire Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. While in law school, she briefed and argued a habeas appeal before the Seventh Circuit, under the supervision of an adjunct professor. She was also a co-founder and executive board member of the Notre Dame Exoneration Project.
