Jennifer Owens

Jenny Owens has broad legal experience in diverse areas of litigation, including product liability, class actions, insurance defense, and white-collar investigations. With an approach that has been shaped by her experiences in these areas of the law and in government service, Jenny has a unique ability for developing strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders across a range of industries and concerns. 

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Jenny was a litigation attorney at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Earlier, she was a staff attorney at a large national law firm based in Chicago, representing clients in all areas of litigation, and worked at the Illinois Human Rights Commission, where she focused on discrimination cases involving employment, housing, and schooling matters. Her legal career also includes work in the public sector as a public defender, where she represented criminal defendants in all aspects of trial litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and trying jury and non-jury trials.
