Brianna Robinson is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on state and federal privacy regulation, telemarketing, and advertising. She advises clients on a wide range of issues, including UDAP, TCPA, surveillance-based pricing, and privacy-related contract review.

Prior to joining the firm, Brianna served as a fall clerk at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. During law school, she represented underserved D.C. families and children in special education matters through Georgetown University’s Health Justice Alliance Law Clinic. 

Reviewed and updated data processing agreements, privacy policies, limited warranties, and terms and conditions for compliance with the CCPA and other state privacy laws, and identified related liability risks.  

Reviewed telemarketing scripts and opt-out disclosures for federal and state compliance; identified and communicated potential risks; evaluated texting and telemarketing practices for TCPA requirements; and tracked Do Not Call requirements, including updating a chart of state-specific restrictions. 

Submitted breach notifications to state attorneys general and identified notification triggers under state data breach laws. 

Assisted with evaluating potential claims under state consumer protection laws and prepared summaries of general UDAP requirements and applicable exemptions.  

Tracked state and federal legislation related to surveillance-based pricing” and summarized key developments for internal and client updates. 

Prepared materials on state attorney general enforcement trends to update clients on emerging enforcement priorities.
