Andrew Wood has spent nearly a decade litigating patent disputes in federal district courts, before mediation and arbitration tribunals, and in inter partes review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeals Board. Andrew’s experience spans a multitude of technologies and industries including signal processing, privacy protection, medical devices, microphone and audio-conferencing technology, semiconductor manufacturing processes, variable data printing technology, sports nutrition manufacturing processes, and pharmaceuticals.
Andrew draws from the breadth of his technical experience to quickly learn and understand the technology in dispute to identify strengths and weaknesses for the infringement and validity inquiries and effectively advocate for his clients.
Andrew also has experience litigating trademark and trade secret matters across multiple industries.
His clients have ranged from individual inventors to Fortune 100 businesses, and he has litigated matters from the initial pleadings through completion of trial.
He previously served as a patent extern to the Honorable Amy St. Eve of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
