Ali Albazzaz focuses his practice on data privacy and information security, advertising technology, and other data governance law matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ali was a privacy associate at a Big Four consulting firm, where he assisted clients on data governance policies and implemented processes to address compliance with the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and other emerging domestic and international data protection laws. Ali has also contributed to proposals that centered on the development of an efficient and independent privacy program, including formulating data subject privacy rights modules.

Ali has experience with all of the current crop of U.S. state privacy laws including CPRA, Colorado Privacy Act (ColoPA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA).

In law school, Ali served as a legal intern for the American Medical Association and a legal extern for Advocate Health Care.

Ali is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
