Women At KDW Hosts Mother’s Day ​“Evening of Giving”

Women At KDW, Kelley Drye’s women’s affinity group, hosted an ​“Evening of Giving” event in celebration of Mother’s Day on May 5, 2010. The women associates and partners from the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut offices gathered at Kelley Drye’s New York office to assemble Mother’s Day gift bags for the residents of My Sister’s Place, a women’s shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. Representatives from My Sister’s Place presented a short program about the work of the organization. Founded in 1978, My Sister’s Place is dedicated to ending domestic violence and helping survivors of human trafficking. The organization provides services such as legal counseling, safety planning and crisis intervention for abused women and children.
