The Washington Post Quotes Partner Julian Solotorovsky on Blagojevich Trial
During the jury deliberations in the case against the former Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich, The Washington Post quoted Julian Solotorovksy, the chair of Kelley Drye’s White Collar Crime and Investigations practice group and a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Solotorovsky formerly served as an assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois.
In the articles, “Blagojevich Jurors Agree on Only Two of 24 Counts” and “Blagojevich Judge Urges Jury to Keep Trying to Reach Verdicts on More Counts,” Mr. Solotorovsky commented on the extended time that the jury was taking to decide its verdict. Mr. Blagojevich is accused of fraud, conspiracy, bribery, and racketeering charges involving alleged attempts to trade official acts for contributions to his campaign fund.
