The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Notes Updates on Successful Partnering Treatise
The Thomson Reuters column in The Metropolitan CorporateCounsel reviews the treatise, Successful Partnering Between Inside andOutside Counsel. Partner Robert L. Haig is the editor-in-chiefof the four volume, 7,000-page book written by 275 authors including generalcounsel of Fortune 500 companies and partners of major law firms. Thearticle states “This critically acclaimed treatise contains comprehensivecoverage of numerous strategies that a corporate law department can implementto maximize the value of legal work for corporate clients.”
In addition to annual updates, eight new chapters were addedto the treatise in 2011. The article notes partner Paul C. Rosenthal andPaul M. Liebenson, general counsel of ArcelorMittal USA,wrote the chapter on international trade. The review states the chapterassists corporations legally addressing low-priced competition and offersguidance to companies, which are respondents in trade remedy cases.
