Savvy Consumer Mentions Kelley Drye’s Involvement in NCL’s Consumer Protection Symposium

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP partnered with the National Consumers League to organize its inaugural Consumer Protection Symposium on November 14, 2012. The symposium examined the future of three important consumer issues in the lame duck session and the coming 113th Congress: food safety, sequestration and privacy. The article also mentioned that Kelley Drye has a shared history with NCL, as Florence Kelley, the mother of the firm’s name partner Nicholas Kelley, served as the first General Secretary of the NCL for 33 years and was widely recognized as one of the leading progressives in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
