It will be a great honor to serve SAL’s members and to fight for competitive and honest markets.”
With more than 9,000 members and 30 committees and groups, the Section covers topics from monopolies to conspiracies and advertising to privacy, and produces more than 150 programs each year on current topics. Among the Chair’s responsibilities are steering the work of the Section and presiding over the annual Spring Meeting, which draws nearly 3,000 attendees from enforcement agencies and private bars in 60 nations. The Section also publishes three leading periodicals: the Antitrust Law Journal, Antitrust magazine, and The Antitrust Source.
In 2014-2015, Mr. MacLeod served as Vice Chair of the Section. Before assuming that role, he was the Section’s Program Officer, its Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates, and its Consumer Protection Officer.
