Associate David Reap was mentioned as counsel to amicus curiae New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) in the Law360 article, “NFL Scores NJ High Court Win in Super Bowl Ticket Row.” On January 9, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that the sale of only 1 percent of 2014 Super Bowl tickets to the public via a lottery did not violate a now-repealed state statute, handing a win to the National Football League. As counsel to the NJBIA, Kelley Drye participated in the oral argument and played a key role in the Supreme Court’s decision in favor of the NFL.
