Law360 Mentions Kelley Drye’s Representation of Unsecured Creditors’ Committee in Houlihan’s Restaurant Bankruptcy
Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group chair Eric Wilson, partner Jason Adams, and senior associate Maeghan McLoughlin were mentioned in Law360 article, “Global Deal Resolves Creditor Objections In Houlihan’s Ch. 11.” Attorneys for the parent company of casual dining chain Houlihan’s told a Delaware bankruptcy judge Thursday that the company had reached a global deal with its unsecured creditors and secured lenders to resolve objections to its proposed debtor-in-possession financing, bidding procedures and executive bonus plans.
Houlihan’s Restaurants, Inc. operates or franchises 55 Houlihan’s restaurants along with six J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steak Seafood locations, eight restaurants under the Devon Seafood and Bristol Seafood Grill brands and one Make Room for Truman restaurant. The company filed for Chapter 11 in November, blaming rising labor costs, burdensome lease obligations and increased competition from food delivery service newcomers.
The committee is represented by Eric, Jason and Maeghan.
