Seek Anti-Dumping Duties Against Chinese Rivals.” Several U.S. producers of stainless steel strips and ribbons asked federal trade authorities to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Chinese producers of the goods, whose output to the U.S. has more than doubled in just two years. The article explains that American steel companies AK Steel Corp., Allegheny Ludlum LLC, North American Stainless and Outokumpu Stainless USA LLC say Chinese companies are unfairly benefiting from state aid and are selling their stainless steel sheet and strip to U.S. users at less than it costs them to make. The U.S. producers are represented by Ms. Cannon, Mr. Herrmann, and Ms. Kim.
