Law360 Lists International Trade Partners as Counsel to ArcelorMittal
Partners Kathleen W. Cannon, Paul C. Rosenthal, and R. Alan Luberda were listed in the Law360 article “Steel Industry Amplifies Call For Tariffs On Foreign Goods.” The article describes how, for the second time in 2 weeks, the U.S. steel industry has filed antidumping petitions against numerous importing countries. The latest petition alleges that unfairly traded imports of hot-rolled steel from Australia, Brazil, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey and the United Kingdom are injuring domestic producers. This follows massive petitions targeting cold-rolled steel from eight countries near the end of July. AK Steel Corp., ArcelorMittal USA LLC and several other companies have now asked the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission to launch a second fleet of anti-dumping and countervailing duty probes. Arcelor Mittal is represented by Ms. Cannon, Mr. Luberda, and Mr. Rosenthal.
