Commerce’s International Trade Administration tagged Chinese producers — including named respondent Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel Works Co. Ltd — with a 210.5 percent preliminary countervailing duty. The tariff was sought by U.S. producers SSAB Enterprises LLC, ArcelorMittal USA LLC and Nucor Corp. ArcelorMittal is represented by Mr. Rosenthal, Mr. Luberda, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Morey. Mr. Luberda noted that ArcelorMittal was very, very happy” with the Chinese probe. We are pleased with the outcome and are hopeful for a similarly strong outcome for the final [determination],” he said.
