D’Angelo as special counsel in Kelley Drye’s environmental law group in the Washington, D.C. office. The article noted that Mr. D’Angelo rejoined the firm after serving as counsel for the American Petroleum Institute, where he tackled energy access matters; climate change and greenhouse gas regulatory issues and litigation; federal and state legal and regulatory actions involving fracking; and waste and remediation issues.
The article highlighted Mr. D’Angelo’s experience guiding clients in heavily regulated industries through the federal rulemaking process and counseling clients on the regulation of hazardous air pollutants under the CAA, representing corporate clients in actions tied to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and advising clients in the regulatory development and litigation over rules on occupational exposures to hexavalent chromium, among other matters.
Law360 quoted Mr. D’Angelo on his return to Kelley Drye, which he called “an excellent environmental firm.” “They do a really good job of providing excellent regulatory and compliance assistance across the whole broad spectrum of environmental law,” he said.
