Kelley Drye’s Privacy Law Practice Ranked Among Top Five in Computerworld Survey
Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has been named one of the top privacy advisers among law firms and consulting firms around the world in a survey published this week in Computerworld. The firm received the fifth highest number of votes in a poll of 340 professionals responsible for data protection in their organizations.
According to the article detailing the survey’s results, “the appearance of Kelley Drye appears connected to the increasing number of privacy questions associated with new media and technologies, a stated strength of the firm.”
Within specific functional areas of privacy advice, Kelley Drye ranked number two on the list for expertise in marketing – online & offline. Kelley Drye also ranked second among respondents on the West Coast. The firm received high scores from respondents in industries including technology, consumer products and retail, and media and entertainment. Further, Kelley Drye outperformed the average on scoring criteria including “broad and deep expertise” and “practical advice.” Kelley Drye’s Privacy and Information Security practice group counsels clients on all aspects of privacy and information security issues and has been at the forefront of developments in this growing area of the law.
