Kelley Drye’s Laura Riposo VanDruff Featured in Protocol

A Protocol article on the appointment of Meredith Whittaker as senior advisor of AI for the FTC features commentary on the appointment by partner Laura Riposo VanDruff.  As a researcher on the social implications of AI, Whittaker’s previous work suggests that her presence might encourage the government to require new transparency from tech companies about how their algorithms work.
