Law Firm Promotes Six to Special Counsel, Elects Three New Partners
Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has promoted six attorneys to special counsel and elected three new partners, effective July 1, 2017.

The new special counsel, and their practice groups, are:
- Matt Basile, Real Estate
Matt has broad experience in commercial real estate law, including mortgage, mezzanine and construction financing, acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture developments, and net lease transactions, including VA facility development deals. He is involved with transactions pertaining to commercial real estate assets, including office developments, retail properties, hotels, apartment complexes and distressed assets. Matt also has significant experience implementing tax-advantaged ownership structures, including Delaware statutory trusts. In addition to his legal practice, Matt is a director and co-founder of Building Bridges Worldwide, a not-for-profit organization committed to constructing schools, orphanages, clean water wells, medical clinics and bridges in impoverished communities around the world. He is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Florida State Bars. - Melissa Byroade, Litigation/International Arbitration
Melissa focuses her practice on high-stakes international arbitration and complex business litigation. Melissa’s broad experience helping companies navigate the challenges and opportunities of a global marketplace includes matters involving contract disputes, environmental law, consumer fraud claims, bilateral investment treaty protections, the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, and the enforcement of arbitration awards and foreign judgments in the United States. She is a member of the New York State Bar. - Michael Dover, Communications
Mike focuses on technology litigation and dispute resolution. He represents both established and emerging technology companies throughout the U.S. He also provides advice on issues ranging from hardware and software applications, such as communications infrastructure, SaaS, the Internet of Things, smartphones and tablets, to legal and regulatory advice affecting technology companies, such as on issues of security, privacy and data protection. Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Mike worked for T-Mobile USA. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar. - Beth Johnson, Government Contracts
Beth counsels clients on a wide range of legal and legislative matters related to federal, state and local government procurements. An experienced litigator, she regularly represents clients in bringing, and defending against, bid protests before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Government Accountability Office and federal agencies. In addition, Beth counsels clients on their federal contracts and subcontracts, teaming agreements, organizational conflicts of interest, and compliance with other applicable procurement law. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Virginia State Bar. - Constantine Koutsoubas, Pharmaceutical Litigation
Dino works with generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in their efforts to bring products to market. He helps clients in every aspect of Hatch-Waxman Act litigation from drafting the initial Paragraph IV notice letter to jury and bench trials. Prior to law school, Dino held a process engineering/research pharmacist role at a major pharmaceutical company. Dino is a member of the Illinois State Bar. - Jaclyn Metzinger, Litigation
Jaclyn’s practice involves commercial and complex civil litigation with a focus on consumer class actions, employment matters and life insurance disputes. Jaclyn regularly defends companies in large-scale class actions involving complex legal challenges involving the manufacturing and marketing of their services and products in the food, beverage, and retail industries and other consumer products markets. Jaclyn strives to identify and mitigate potential exposure to class action claims and other multi-claimant proceedings, and has been a key team member involved in dismissals and denials of class certification. Jaclyn is a member of the New York State Bar.
In addition to the new special counsel, Jennifer Bedoya, Cliff Katz and Aaron Rosenfeld were newly elected partners to the firm.
