Kelley Drye To Host Local Veterans Groups for Historic World War II Victory Flyover
Law firm honors veterans and commemorates the 70th Anniversary of VE Day at its Washington D.C. Office
Kelley Drye & Warren LLP announced that it will host local veteran groups to watch the historic “Arsenal of Democracy” flyover on Friday, May 8, 2015 at its Washington, D.C. office. To honor their service to our country, the firm has invited veterans from groups including Team River Runner, the Yellow Ribbon Fund, No Greater Sacrifice and Dog Tag Bakery, a local non-profit veteran-run bakery.
The flyover will fly directly past the Kelley Drye office in Washington Harbour at approximately noon. The event marks the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day and will feature more than 50 vintage World War II military aircraft in 15 flight formations representing key battles and milestones of WWII.
“We are pleased that several local veterans groups can join us for this historic flyover. We have also encouraged our attorneys and staff to invite clients, friends, neighbors and family who are veterans or service members to join us,” says Kathy Cannon, Managing Partner of Kelley Drye’s Washington, D.C. office.
