Kelley Drye Recognized as Industry Leader in Legal 500 United States 2008 Edition
The Legal 500 United States 2008 edition has recognized Kelley Drye’s International Trade and Advertising Law practices as industry leaders in the Litigation and Media, Technology, and Telecoms categories. Four prominent attorneys in the practices have been recognized as well.
2008 marks the second consecutive year that the International Trade practice has been honored by the Legal 500. The practice is recognized for its, “excellent reputation for petitioner-side representations, with over 30 years’ experience of international trade work.” Additionally, the practice profile notes Kelley Drye’s economic consulting subsidiary as a considerable asset to the practice, serving to “optimize the delivery of service, focusing the economists on complex calculations of injury analysis in trade cases, for example, leaving the lawyers free to concentrate on matters of law and policy.”
Paul C. Rosenthal, managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office, was noted in the Litigation category for his ability to “do a very high-quality job for U.S. petitioners.”
The Advertising Law practice was honored in the Marketing and Advertising section of the Media, Technology, and Telecoms category. Regarded as providing the “gold standard for client service,” the profile notes that the group’s substantive expertise “covers the full range of areas of concern to clients, with considerable strength in advertising litigation and proceedings; before the National Advertising Division. . . and is particularly adept at assisting in governmental investigations by the Federal Trade Commission.”
Inclusion in the Legal 500 Series is based on merit and interviews conducted with thousands of lawyers and their clients around the world. The series covers 80 countries and jurisdictions, and has been printed in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for nearly 20 years.
