Kelley Drye Partner Paul Rosenthal Honored as “Leading Lawyer in International Trade”
Kelley Drye is pleased to announce that Paul Rosenthal has been named a “Leading Lawyer in International Trade” by the Legal Times, a premier publication of the Washington, D.C. legal community. Mr. Rosenthal, the managing partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, is one of only 10 attorneys to receive this distinction.
“I am honored to be named a ‘Leading Lawyer in International Trade,’” said Mr. Rosenthal. “This is truly a prestigious group of attorneys and it is an honor to be included among them. This award really is a reflection of the great work of Kelley Drye’s International Trade group; I am surrounded by outstanding professionals who make me look good.”
Mr. Rosenthal was selected for his outstanding representation of U.S. producers before every U.S. trade agency and court of jurisdiction; on matters involving the World Trade Organization (WTO) and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA); in multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations; as well as helping U.S. exporters overcome barriers to entry in foreign markets. Mr. Rosenthal also has an active government relations practice, in which he advances clients’ trade and non-trade interests before Congress and the executive branch.
“This award highlights Paul’s dedication to promoting a fair trade environment that enables all American businesses to compete with their foreign counterparts on equal footing,” noted David “Skip” Hartquist, chairman of Kelley Drye’s International Trade Practice Group. “We congratulate him on this well-deserved distinction.”
