Kelley Drye Names Denise Smith as 2020 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow and Pathfinder
Kelley Drye & Warren LLP today announced that it has named Denise Smith as a Fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). The Fellows Program was created by LCLD to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Complimenting this, the Pathfinders Program is designed to train high-performing early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.

Based in Washington, D.C., Denise is special counsel in Kelley Drye’s Communications practice representing telecommunications companies before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and state regulatory agencies. Denise’s practice also includes advising clients regarding FCC and state regulations applicable to transactional matters such as transfers of control, mergers and asset purchases.
Kelley Drye was recognized as a 2019 Compass Award Winner during the October 2019 LCLD annual meeting in Washington, D.C. The Compass Award is reserved for the most active LCLD Member Corporations and Law Firms.
