Kelley Drye Announces Robert I. Steiner Selected as Managing Partner of New York Office
Robert I. Steiner, a partner in Kelley Drye’s litigation department, has been appointed the managing partner of the firm’s New York office. Mr. Steiner joined Kelley Drye in 1997 as an associate and was elected partner in 2005. “I am looking forward to working with the partners, associates and staff in the New York office as we focus on expanding our existing capabilities and adding others,” said Mr. Steiner, who will continue representing his clients in various industries, including health care and financial services.
Previously the firm managing partner, James J. Kirk, was responsible for the operations of the New York office as well as the general management of the firm. “Rob has successfully handled a variety of roles within the firm, including in New York, making him a logical choice for this newly created position. His appointment will allow me to give my undivided attention to our overall operations, including building on our successes in 2011. I look forward to working with him as well as the office managing partners in our six other offices.”
