Kelley Drye Announces Completion of Chicago Office Redesign
Kelley Drye & Warren LLP announced the completion of the redesign of its Chicago Office. The redesign allows for more flexibility, collaboration, and efficiencies, and addresses employee safety and wellbeing, while embracing elegant design features.
“Our key goal in redesigning the nearly 20,000 square feet of Kelley Drye’s Chicago Office space was to create a modern, collaborative, and functional office setting which allows our attorneys and staff to best serve client needs while working in a space that is efficient and supports their wellbeing,” said Matt Luzadder, Chicago office managing partner.
The updated space includes larger, ergonomic, and automated workstations which accommodate sitting or standing while working. The workstation design also includes dual monitors and flexible Plexiglas walls. Common areas have improved lighting as well as customizable communal work areas for greater collaboration and productivity.
The office’s refresh took nearly 12 months of design, planning, and construction. The design team included Patrick McGreal and Jose Montenegro from Walsh Construction, architects Jamie Horn and Kate Harpst from Horn Design, and an internal Kelley Drye team of partners Matt Luzadder, Hank Kelly, Andrew Pillsbury, Jennifer Norkus, and Office Administrator Katy Kleinfeldt.
“As employees return to the workplace, a healthy, efficient, and modernized workspace is critical for so many companies and firms in Chicago,” said John Kiessling, Senior Vice President at Walsh Construction. “We are proud to have partnered with Kelley Drye & Warren to bolster and maximize the capabilities of their office, creating spaces to enhance safety, flexibility and productivity.”
