IP Law360 Reports on Kelley Drye Representation in Court’s Decision To Rehear Tafas Case

In an article, Fed. Circ. to Reconsider Tafas v. Doll,” IP Law360 noted Kelley Drye’s representation of Dr. Triantafyllos Tafas. The article focused on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit’s decision to grant a combined petition by inventor, Dr. Tafas, and pharmaceutical firm, GlaxoSmithKline PLC, for a rehearing en banc of the case, Tafas v. Doll. The Federal Circuit vacated a March 20, 2009, ruling that restored most of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s controversial rules aimed at curtailing prosecution abuses and cutting down the patent application backlog.

The Kelley Drye attorneys handling this matter for Dr. Tafas include partner William R. Golden, Jr.
