Kelley Drye hosted a three-part CLE seminar series entitled, “Lessons Learned: How to Prevent, Prepare for and Win Crisis Litigation.” The seminar series, which took place in June, July and September in the New York office, explored the best practices to successfully and effectively handle large, high-profile legal actions that have resulted from heightened scrutiny of finance transactions, with damages often exceeding billions of dollars. The series offered unique insight based on the Firm’s representation of JPMorgan Chase in the settlement of its dispute with 11 insurers for the $1.1 billion the bank lost in complex financing deals arranged with bankrupt energy trader Enron Corporation.
