In today’s financial industry, business methods and products are becoming increasingly valuable. Consequently, innovative financial products and business methods, including credit transaction methods and stock portfolio selections, may be at serious risk of being copied by competitors. There are, however, specific steps companies can take to protect their unique intellectual assets. This seminar will address ways businesses can protect their financial methods and products with patents. In addition to discussing the effectiveness of these measures, this program will discuss the advantages and costs associated with patent portfolios, and which companies have such safeguards in place today.
