PowerUp: The Future of Energy Storage
Kelley Drye Seminar
September 24, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (EDT)
Kelley Drye and Navigant present the seventh in a series of thought leadership programs structured to provide a high-level interactive discussion, and analysis on some of the most pressing topics within the energy industry.
Energy storage has been described as the “missing link” in our evolving energy system. As we move to an electric grid with more distributed renewable and intermittent energy resources, the need for cost-effective energy storage has become ever more evident. Recent progress has been made in technology advancements, regulatory changes, and new energy market structures. But when will we see wide-scale adoption of energy storage?
Join our September 24th PowerUP panel discussion as we explore different perspectives on the current state of the energy storage market, including views from the R&D community, an early stage technology provider, an energy storage developer, and the electric utility.
The forum brings together some of the region’s most prominent thought leaders including C-level executives, in-house counsel from Midwest-based energy companies, service providers and energy industry investors. Each session is highly participatory and concludes with a networking reception.
