Navigating Payments Compliance: MTL/MSB Frameworks, Nacha and Network Rules, and Bank–Fintech Regulatory Strategies

Partner Matthew Luzadder will speak on the panel, ​“Navigating Payments Compliance: MTL/MSB Frameworks, Nacha and Network Rules, and Bank–Fintech Regulatory Strategies,” at the American Bar Association Business Law Section Chicago Meeting on September 4th. 

The session will examine the complex regulatory landscape governing payment systems, including money transmitter licensing, money services business registration requirements, ACH and card network rules, and compliance considerations for bank-fintech partnerships. Attendees will gain practical insights into AML/BSA, OFAC, consumer protection, and third-party risk management obligations, as well as strategies for building scalable compliance programs across overlapping regulatory and industry frameworks.
