Kelley Drye’s Day of Giving

Kelley Drye and Freddie Mac volunteers worked on the home of an elderly Bethesda resident on October 28th in cooperation with the Montgomery County organization, Rebuilding Together. The volunteer work done by our group helped make her home safe and healthy by completing projects such as de-cluttering areas of her home, clearing out her front and backyards of debris and planting easy to manage plants, applying a fresh coat of paint to her living room, patching up various holes in her walls, and more. We also used some of the funding to help offset the cost of the more skilled projects her home needs such as a new furnace and hot water heater so she can remain warm in the winter. Thanks to the support of many, her home will be a safe and healthy space she can depend on for years to come.
