Kelley Drye Hosts Northeast BLSA Panel and Reception
July 13, 2011
On July 13, 2011, Kelley Drye’s New York office hosted a panel and cocktail reception for Northeast Black Law Students Association (NEBLSA) members working in the New York City metro area this summer. The panel featured partners Lauri A. Mazzuchetti and Philip D. Robben, and associate Damon W. Suden.
They moderated the event, and shared stories and insights on interviewing, choosing the right firm, managing work assignments, and successfully navigating the summer associate and first year associate experiences. The event was organized by Kelley Drye’s diversity administrator and former Kelley Drye employee, Kendra Brown, the NEBLSA Northeast regional chair.
NEBLSA’s mission is “Awareness, Advocacy, Activism.” The organization aims to promote a balanced union among all law students within the region; to assist in the matriculation of NEBLSA members; and to enhance the social, intellectual and educational opportunities of members and the community-at-large.
