On September 9, 2015, on behalf of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC), Kelley Drye hosted a symposium “The Economic Impact of Supplier Diversity,” which delved into the shared business, economic and social benefits of supply chain diversity. Underwritten by TD Bank, the presentation was led by Deborah Grossman, VP and Manager of TD Bank’s Procurement Corporate Responsibility Strategic Sourcing Group. Ms. Grossman addressed an audience of largely small business owners, many of whom were minority or women-owned, and discussed among other things, how to leverage one’s organization in the supplier diversity space. Brief welcome remarks were given by New York partner, Deepak Nambiar, Kelley Drye’s relationship manager with the MCC and its VP of Communications, Laura Bucko. Also in attendance was Kelley Drye’s director of diversity, Venetta Amory.
