COVID and the Workplace: 2021 UPDATE
September 22, 2021 at 12:30 pm (EDT)
As the Delta variant runs rampant, employers continue to struggle with the many significant employment impacts of COVID-19, both direct and indirect. The Kelley Drye Labor and Employment group has continued to monitor fast-changing developments and the ever-evolving guidance in response. With a pandemic that is not nearly behind us, what should employers do regarding vaccination, accommodations for those who can’t get vaccinated, employee privacy issues in connection with proof of vaccination, and continuing health and safety obligations for employers?
Our past webinars addressed the basics of navigating the pandemic: how and whether to work remotely, what to do when an employee tests positive, how to comply with applicable law and CDC guidelines, and many other issues. We invite you to join the Kelley Drye Labor and Employment team on September 22, 2021 for a refresh on the basics and—most importantly—to mark a clear path forward for employers amid the moving targets of the pandemic. We will synthesize the morass of information and often conflicting guidance to answer the obvious questions employers care about the most: what to actually do as the pandemic drags on.
