Is Your Product Accessible for All?
Many equipment manufacturers, video game designers, and “app” developers that include over-the-top voice, video or messaging “chat” as part of their services may not realize that the FCC regulates the design and provision of their products and apps. Consumers can file complaints with the FCC if they cannot access certain advanced communications services (ACS) because of a disability.
In this session, we cover the nuanced disability access requirements imposed by the Twenty First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (CVAA) and the FCC’s implementing rules. All telecommunications and ACS equipment manufacturers and service providers will benefit from this session.
