Ryan Kang

Ryan Kang is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group in the firm’s New York office. His practice includes the representation of post-confirmation trusts and individual creditor engagements in complex Chapter 11 cases. Ryan’s proficiency includes the management of post-confirmation trusts and related entities to streamline asset monetization and facilitate effective and efficient distributions to trust beneficiaries.

Ryan is also a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Ryan was a tax director, providing counseling on tax debt issues and advising clients on estate tax compliance and planning issues. He negotiated with the IRS and other tax authorities to mitigate tax liabilities for clients. Ryan continues to utilize his tax knowledge in his representations of post-confirmation trusts.
