Kelley Drye Celebrates Pride Month
The second annual D.C. office Pride Reception took place on June 7. The program was both a celebration of diversity and inclusion at Kelley Drye as well as an introduction to local organization the Wanda Alston Foundation. We were joined by the Foundation’s Executive Director, June Crenshaw, who gave a moving overview of the issues facing D.C.‘s population of homeless LGBTQ youth and what her organization is doing to help.
The New York office held its third annual Pride Reception for friends and clients of the firm on June 28 at The William Hotel. Hosted by partner Damon Suden, the cocktail reception included a guest speaker from Immigration Equality, one of the firm’s pro bono clients, which advocates for and on behalf of LGBTQ immigrants needing asylum. The event was also attended by New York attorneys as well as Kelley Drye’s summer associates.
