Seasoned litigator and mediator Nancy Yanochik represents clients in environmental matters, torts, and commercial litigation. In both state and federal court, Nancy represents plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of matters, including at trial and on appeals.

Nancy’s clients include large petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and transportation companies, as well as automobile manufacturers, government entities, and healthcare organizations.

With extensive mediation experience, Nancy takes a balanced view of the alternative dispute resolution process. She has extensive background in e-discovery in complex litigation matters and excels in the collection, analysis, and preparation of evidence during motion practice and trial. Nancy skillfully interfaces with expert witnesses and consultants and has extensive experience handling challenges to expert witness testimony and damages modeling.

Represented the State of Louisiana and the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator’s Office in pursuing natural resource damages arising from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Represented the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in multidistrict litigation pursuing environmental claims including remediation, natural resource damages, tort claims, and state and federal claims associated with contamination of the water resources of the Commonwealth.

Represented a Class I Railroad Company in protecting CERCLA cost recovery rights.

Represented an automobile manufacturer and obtained favorable verdicts in products liability suits.

Represented chemical manufacturer in defense of multiple personal injury claims related to airborne releases.

Represented pharmaceutical, medical device and manufacturing clients in various product liability suits and obtained favorable outcomes.
