Kelli Ortega is a senior associate who focuses her practice on all aspects of intellectual property law, including trademark prosecution and enforcement, copyright, and trade dress. Kelli provides intellectual property counselling and assists with managing worldwide intellectual property portfolios and related prosecution and enforcement matters for various brands in industries including entertainment, media, fashion and retail, and consumer products.
Kelli negotiates and prepares coexistence agreements, settlement agreements, license agreements, and related intellectual property agreements, and also handles all areas of domain name management and enforcement. Her experience also includes the successful advocacy and resolution of
inter partes proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Kelli also obtains decisions on the merits in multiple WIPO Domain Dispute proceedings in favor of several different clients, holding that the domain names were registered in bad faith and must be transferred to our client.
