Litigator and former Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Krasnow represents state governments and corporate clients in complex litigation across the United States.

Elizabeth devotes a significant portion of her practice to prosecuting fraudulent transfer claims arising from corporate restructurings. She also represents corporate clients in a variety of areas of the law, including breach of contract, restrictive covenant and trade secret misappropriation, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and regulatory enforcement, among others.

Elizabeth has experience handling various stages of complex litigation matters, including pre-suit investigation, dispositive motion practice, discovery, and settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Elizabeth served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan D.A.’s Office for seven years and Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department for four years.

In those roles, Elizabeth gained valuable courtroom and practical experience. She has briefed and argued multiple dispositive motions, taken and defended numerous depositions, conducted hearings and trials, and briefed and argued appeals in the Second Circuit and First Department. Elizabeth regularly achieved favorable outcomes in high-profile and complex matters, including alleged wrongful conviction cases and serious felony prosecutions.

She appeared as counsel of record on behalf of the D.A.’s Office in the U.S. Supreme Court in opposition to a certiorari petition in a constitutional challenge to a weapons possession statute. Drawing on the favorable record created at trial and decision won in the Second Circuit, Elizabeth was successful in opposing the petition.
