MFY Legal Services Honors Partner Robert E. Crotty as ​“Pro Bono Partners in Justice”

Partner Robert E. Crotty was honored at MFY Legal Services, Inc.’s Annual Pro Bono Recognition and Awards Breakfast. The event recognized over 200 volunteers who gave of their ​“time and talent to help MFY Legal Services expand access to justice for New Yorkers who cannot afford attorneys,” said MFY Executive Director Christopher D. Lamb. In addition to those honored as ​“Pro Bono Partners in Justice,” MFY presented its Champion of Justice Award to Senator Eric T. Schneiderman.

Founded in 1963, MFY is a nonprofit law firm dedicated to ensuring that no poor New Yorker is denied equal access to justice. Working with neighborhood social service providers and community advocates, MFY reaches out to those most in need to help resolve the problems faced by large numbers of low-income New Yorkers.
