Kelley Drye CAN” Share Common Ground With Bronx Teens

Kelley Drye is conducting ongoing pro bono work for the Charcole Artists Network (CAN), a program that provides teenagers from Bronx schools the opportunity to create their own news publication, entitled What? Magazine.

The CAN Media Project allows students from five Bronx high schools to obtain school credits while working on the magazine. CAN aims to publish a magazine each semester with students from schools in the Bronx, eventually branch out to Brooklyn schools and ultimately start a charter school focusing on the media arts. Other project contributors include Coca Cola, Interscope Records, Levi Strauss & Company, and actress (and Bronx native) Jennifer Lopez.
